Absolutely! I think he's growing into head coach material (and hilariously a little bit into Ted 😄) We love to see it!

Good point! With only three episodes left, I'm curious to see if Sam keeps the captain's band.

I agree that there are plenty of things to suggest Roy becomes a coach, especially how he may be a coach of the "Lasso Way". 1) (Funny) Last episode he can't avoid the funny names for things and asks it to stop. 2) (Serious) But I think the biggest is he took the opportunity to make the press conference question a teachable moment,

All the tears!!! Also, I see Anthony Head here like Jack Gleeson as Joffrey (among other incredible villainous actors)...the fact that I hate his character so much is an incredible testament to his performance. I've never watched Buffy, so I'd love to go back and see him in a more positive light, but I still respect the hell out of his performance here.

I can’t add anything to what you said. Just beautifully done, on all the story lines.
If anything, about the Captain’s band…in the Season 1 finale, Roy gave it to Isaac, but when Roy was subbed in, Isaac gave it back to Roy, and Roy handed it back to Isaac when he left the field. So, at least by that, I think Sam would give it back to Isaac whenever Isaac returns…I’m just not sure Isaac will accept it.

Dang it, Ted Lasso, making me tear up again...
I need to rewatch Buffy just to watch the stink off of Anthony Head in my mind. 😂

The beginning, in musical, made me think of ''The Marvelous Miss Maisel''

A few people have commented that, and I've looked for it. I think it might be, but more subtly than it went grey. I don't think he'll be fully back to black by the end of the series, but I think there's definitely some growth there 😄

I don't know if it's just me but do you also notice Nate's hair slowly turning back to black?

The opening music is “La Cage aux Folles.” It’s the title track from the Broadway show. The last song is “I Am What I Am” from the same show. It’s the musical which inspired Birdcage with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.
Tres apropos!

The GREAT THING about this show's story premise of installing ONE SYSTEMICALLY POSITIVE 'CHANGE AGENT' PERSON (Ted) into a 'SHARED PURPOSE' ECOSYSTEM (Richmond) is the result is every single PERSON engaged in, or even tangential to, that ecosystem, is made systemically better.
Mission accomplished! Everyone here is BETTER!
(excepting Rupert, there is no hope for anyone as vile as Rupert).
But even GREATER than just CHANGE to BETTER... the 'SPECIAL MAGIC' of 'TED' is that everyone in Richmond ''LOVES'' BETTER.
BOTTOM-LINE: It's almost impossible to imagine how this SHOW could be any BETTER!
