v0.6 Progress log 5

Alright, progress log is here. This one is very exciting as I'll be focusing on talking about progress done to events, as that was the main focus this month. There's more stuff, but I'll save it for another log.

First of all, the level up events. A lot of time was spent on these as they are quite lengthy. They are nearing the wrap up, which is really exciting. Anyhow, this is how they are looking as of now. Took the rough ideas of the level 2 and 3's level up events, developed the ideas, and turned them into actual dialogue. I've said this already, but I'll say it again, these level up events are looong. To put it into perspective, the level 0 and 1 level up events were 175~, and 120~ interactions. Yeah, the level 2 and 3 events are 232, and 438 interactions. I always thought I had gone a bit far with the length of the level 0 event, but the new level up events make it seem short in comparison, especially the level 3 event. Speaking of which, I am looking into adding a way of splitting the level 3 event into 2 parts so that it's possible to stop at a midpoint, and then continue later from that midpoint, as the event might be a too long for some players to go through in one go. No promises on that though. As for the level 4 level up event. The rough idea was developed, now all I need is to translate it into dialogue. This one seems like it'll sit in the middle of the level 2 and 3 events when it comes to length, so expect another lengthy experience there. As for CGs, all but one of the complex CGs are complete. All that is left is to make around 4 fairly simple one-off CGs.


Another thing that got a lot of love this month was the Inn, there's a lot of stuff coming to this POI in v0.6. There's two sides of progress, one regarding what I mentioned recently about leaving the game content complete for all of the available lewdness levels, and one for the new lewdness level stuff. When it comes to the content complete stuff. The dusting event has had it's Level 1, 3, and 4 event ideas developed and translated into dialogue. These stages of the event had been missing up until now.  Also, the level 2 event was basically scrapped due to reasons, and rewritten, so it's almost like a new one as well. Then, aside from the dusting event, a new event situation has been added which will become active at level 1. This new event has had it's level 1,2,3 and 4's event ideas fully developed and translated into dialogue as well. Which brings it up to speed. So, now there will be 2 different events, and both of them will have a new stage for every lewdness level. As for the new lewdness level, both events will be seeing level 5 events. The ideas have been fully developed, but I haven't gotten to translating them into dialogue. Anyhow, this POI always felt like it was lacking content as it only had 2 events (Stages for level 0 and 2 of the dusting event), but in v0.6 it'll have a total of 11 events of which 9 are entirely new, and 1 was completely rewritten. All of this content, along another thing that I'll be talking about in the next post, will make the Inn a far more fun POI. Look forward to that. When it comes to CGs, 3 CGs are needed, of which 1 was complete.

Level 5 events for the PUB had their ideas ideas fully developed, and translated into dialogue. Since level 8 is no longer a thing, and it's contents were moved the to levels 5 through 7, these new events ended up being quite lengthy as well with a lot of developments. Really fun events due to the new maid outfit, I won't spoil anything though. When it comes to CGs, the existing CGs needed a lot of new stuff, all of which has been complete.


Level 5 events for the Bathhouse have also had their ideas fully developed. Haven't gotten to translating them into dialogue. There's some very lengthy and reeeally juicy stuff here, look forward to that. When it comes to CGs, the existing CGs needed a lot of new stuff, all of which has been complete.

The post level up events over at the Infirmary with Sebas and Nube saw progress as well. The events for level 1,2, and 5 have had their rough ideas thoroughly developed as well.  

Most of these events are quite lengthy and more complex than usual, which took a lot of time to write. They were the main focus throughout this month, hence why this post is focused on nothing but events.

I'm looking into making a follow up post once the remaining events have had their dialogue fully written which should happen mid-late July. However, I'll probably end up writing it towards the end of the month, so don't be alarmed if I don't make that post earlier.

As usual I thought it was a good idea to write this while sleep deprived, so I probably forgot to mention some stuff. I hope I was able to explain everything properly.
