New incoming setup, and an important question !

Hi hi hiiiiii everybody! I hope you’re having a good Sunday ??

As some of you know, I’ve been struggling with microphones for the past months, I bought a rode nt1 that never worked and later on replaced it with a CAD e100sx which gave me the hardest time and made me very unhappy regarding my recording’s quality. People told me to keep trying and testing things, but my audios kept being very unstable from one recording to another, some times were good, some other times were HORRIBLE and left me struggling and trying to post treat it for hours when it should take me only a few minutes.

I recently could compare it with someone else having the exact same microphone and turns out my CAD is faulty and should NOT sound like that.

So, to hell with this microphone, and to hell with EVERYTHING actually- I went on wood brass, spent hours trying to find the best setup I could and ended up buying 2.5k on a microphone, an interface AND soundproofing equipment. (More on the equipment soon because I don’t have the names in my head, oops!)

I just wanted to mention that this investment has only been possible because of you and your support, and I’m EXTREMELY exited to be able to bring you more quality and a better listening experience. I’m gonna work hard on this.

Now here’s my question : I was going to record the two remaining audios of the month tomorrow for you guys and have them be ready during the week.

Do I wait to receive the new equipment, install everything and record the audios later than planned ? (Knowing we’re nearing the end of the month)

OR

Do I record them regardless and give you all the content as planned ?

Thank you for reading me and for your replies 💖💖💖

Love you all and appreciate you so much, BIGGEST SMOOCH 💖💖

As a music producer, audio stuff is never easy so take all the time needed! I'm sure if we have to wait just a bit more for even better audios, it's gonna be awesome :D don't worry!

Dacian Grada

Do whatever you feel is best. I'll trust you on your own content

Manlion

You are all too sweet I'm so blessed to have you here 😭It's stressful for me right now and I'd rather wait as well, to just be able to focus on content and stop worrying and wasting time so much. I'm so so relieved, thank you 😭💞 To better content 💞💞

Elly

Just wait for the new equipment

DorkyDumbass

Honestly, I think it’s more important that you wait, especially with the stresses of the past couple months of complications. It might be easier for you mentally to just have everything work together. I don’t mind waiting either; I would rather you be extremely happy with the quality of your work than annoyed over complications.

EMoney3372

Personally, I don't mind the delay, both if it'll make the audios sound better, and (more importantly) if it'll make you feel better about the whole process when it comes to stress and the quality of your work.

Daervon

I can wait for better audio, gladly.

natas

I will only urge you to pick the choice that gives you the least stress. We're fine waiting. We're perfectly fine with the path that's most comfortable with you.

CrimsonFox

If you think the new equipment will cut down the time you need to edit then we should wait. Whatever you think will be easier for you is always going to be my answer

Mr. Pendulum

Of course new audios sooner then later would be good but if your new equipment would make them even better and won't break the schedule then by all means we can wait.

Luthstorm

It won't mess up my schedule at all, I just want to know what you guys would prefer 💞

Elly

Personally, I say wait and make an audio you know is going to sound amazing.

Burwinkle Hendershot

If the delay won't mess up your schedule, I will choose record later. But if it will, then maybe stick to the original plan.
