Can't wait to play the new build ! Kind of preferred the older sketch of the whip-user, but that's probably because I think he looked better and more menacing without clothes, or at least without the hood. Totally digging Aquilo's second pose though. Good thing to balance the game, I got my ass whooped several times due to very lucky rolls from the AI.

You know that there is an English translation right? Go into the config file and where it says language=jp or something like that change the "jp" to "en" and it will be in English :)

New patron here! Been kinda keeping an eye on your project from the sidelines for a while now and am happy to have the chance to directly support it. Just finished playing through your current version and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I took note of the upcoming changes noted in your latest update and kept them in mind while playing. Biggest thing that really stuck at me about combat was how often Volga would end up with both his armors shattered and only a handful of health left if some of the higher level enemies, and especially bosses, got the first turn in combat. Even with damage scaling down during longer Cascade chains, the advantage of having the initiative in combat seems to be one of the major deciding factors. Overall I really enjoy learning the different abilities, special gem effects like curse, poison etc, and adjusting my strategy accordingly. Though I, unfortunately, have very minimal comprehension of written Japanese, the various uses of these skills was pretty intuitive after a little experimentation. Really looking forward to future updates and wish you the best of luck in working on this project. I'm sure it can be pretty daunting, haha.

Yay! May I ask you what do you not like about the combat before the change? Was it too easy or too long? Also, Kurono will be so happy to hear that someone like the cave boss ^^ - Punipen

Thank you! Not sure about a harem option as an ending but we'll see XD Regarding first turn advantage, I've been trying many different things with that. Currently, we decide to make it so that the first striker only gets two action markers. This way, you get the advantage of starting first but the maximum number of moves you can make in the best case scenario is 4 instead of 6. After testing it for a while, I think this should do it. However, I like you ideas of adjusting shield or skill cost reduction so I'll keep that in mind if the current change doesn't work. Thank you! _ Punipen

Very nice update! I think the balance of the game is really important yeah, because, even If we love the adult content in the end the game NEEDS to be fair and fun, so keep up with the good work! I love the new Aquilo, the VN faces... he's so handsome! And oh my god Maximus... looks very promising, very nice design! The armor is perfect! Keep doing awesome stuff team! :)

Oh my, the sprites look so good! I hope there will be a harem option, or this will quickly become a horrid and tragic husbando bloodshed. :P Love the new Vortex gem btw, it’s a nice strategic option. I approve your ideas for game balancing, I think they’ll work just fine. Maybe the next issue you’ll need to work on is the battle order. As the game is right now, I feel like the first one to strike has a huuuge advantage over his opponent that cannot be mitigated in any way during the combat (except outside factors e.g. by gaining levels, stats and upgrading your armour). The scaling adjustment will surely fix that to some extent, but perhaps you can come out with some sort of compensation for the second opponent, like the extra gem In Hearthstone. Maybe an armour bonus for the first round? 20% or 30% would be enough imo. Or a slight cost reduction for the physical/magical techniques? I swear it’s kinda frustrating to 3-shot your enemy when you’re starting but to lose 2 armour parts when the reversed situation happens with some crazy lucky cascade of the doom. :o

Great report! Loving all the art, hopefully I can finally strip the cave boss naked ;D Also, interesting edit on the damage scaling. It should make battles last longer and a lot more fun .
