We've finished playing through the 1st chapter of the game, up to the 1st half of the 2nd chapter. There were some minor bugs like wrong treasures, equipments aren't unlocked, some passive abilities not working as intended, but other than that there is no game stopping bug so far in chapter 1. The 1st chapter took around 3 hours to finish, so I think that should be the playtime we're aiming for per one chapter.
There's a game-stopping bug in chapter 2, however, where the required dungeon isn't unlocked. Fixed it and pushed the new version for Kurono to continue testing already, so playtest should be done today.
I've redesigned parameters of all enemies and actors in the game, so expect it to be different from last build. We've found that the numbers we used were too low. When everything is too low, modifying parameters with equipments can really abuse the game. For example, Volga's able to make a match of 60~80 damage, making it too easy to kill an enemy. Because of this, we've decided to make the following changes:
The result has been satisfying so far for chapter 1. In chapter 2, however, I was afraid that I might make enemies too strong, so I hold back a bit. It turns out that this makes the enemies in chapter 2 a bit too weak instead (as well as some bosses in chapter 1)
After the playtest is done, I'll be tweaking parameters one last time before releasing the game. I know you all are waiting, and I can't wait to release this too. Kurono's enjoy playtesting it so far and I'm happy to see that it's worth the effort putting into making this :)
