Batman: "Less your ads and more your criminal activity that's drawn me here. You've been funding some of the most dangerous criminals in Gotham. I'm here to take you in."
Mayor Adkins: "Well, Batman, I'm afraid jail might lose me the necessary votes for next week's election. I'm sorry, but I'll have to pass on it. I am glad you're here though, I could use an ally to ensure victory and to help me navigate my interests with all those aforementioned dangerous criminals..."
Batman: "And you think I'll help you..."
Mayor Adkins: "You'll have no choice..."
(Mayor Adkins presses a button behind her desk and Batman is consumed by pink smoke).
