Upcoming Patreon Changes

I’m polishing the Patreon up a bit! To keep things brief, here are the changes:

• $3 tier (access to everything early, vote on monthly poll) is the same
• *NEW* $5 Suggest-a-Story tier!
• $7 tier keeps old benefit, gets  Suggest-a-Story benefits too
• $19.50 price tier increasing to $24.50. Still has benefits of all lower tiers + monthly 1Kish fic.
• Being a patron now takes off $3 off the final price of any commissions. (IE, a 2K length $40 comm will be $37). Just mention it somewhere in the process. 
• The weird does-nothing $1 tier is gone
• I’ll be organizing alerts through pms over Patreon from now on now that I’ve figured that out.
• These changes will go into effect on the evening of the 31st.

So with that, the Patron tiers now look like this:

$3 - Hex Patron

• Get access to most of my content 2-3 weeks early!
• Get a neat tag on discord

$5 - Hex Suggester

• Get all the above and…
• Get the ability to suggest a story idea once per month in the Suggest-a-Story. I’ll pick the best idea I get and turn it into a small fic!

$7 - Hex Vote Pledger

• Get all the above and…
• Get the ability to make a suggestion for a monthly fic poll. The winner of that poll gets turned into a long and meaty story!

$24.50 - Hextra Extra 

• Get all the above and…
• Get a small 1Kish fic personalized to your liking once every month

What’s with the changes?

New Feature: Suggest-a-Story

This is something new I’m trying out! Once per month, every patron at the $5 tier or higher will get to suggest a fic for me to write. These are like the small monthly fics highest tier patrons receive, though I’ll do all the choosing. If you pledge $5+, you’ll receive a PM at the start of the month alerting you that you can submit your ideas for the Suggest-a-Story.

No $1 tier

The $1 tier gave you basically no benefits, not even access to stories early. I axed it to avoid confusion since a handful of people had signed up for it, realized they couldn’t do anything, and immediately increased their pledge up.

Extra Tier Price Increase

The Extra tier was set up back when my commission prices were $15 per 1K. I’ve since increased my prices to $20 per 1K, so an adjustment up to better match my prices seems fair. 

Everyone in the Extra Tier should be notified about this change asap so they don’t get charged halfway for august with no benefit. Still, if you do end up having that happen to you come August and you don’t want to pay for the new price, let me know and I’ll refund you. 

$3 off the final price of a commission if you’re a Patron

If you’re a patron at any time whenever I agree to take up your commission, you get a small discount! Feel free to just join the $3 tier for one month and leave the patreon immediately next month if you’d like, you’re still set for the discount for as long as I offer this.

Things have gotten into a sort of rhythm here. I figured I’d go ahead and make a map of how content comes out here for everyone. Here’s a loose overview of when everything here comes out.
