Upcoming Patreon & Commission Changes

Hey there! I’ve got a few announcements to make. The short of it is:

• I'm going to do some more personal projects from now on
• The $25 tier is ending. The highest tier will just be the $7 tier
• My Comm prices are going up slightly. People who've already contacted me will have the old rate honored

Here's a bit more detail:

General shift in focus: Less Emphasis on Commissions, more Personal Projects.

For a while now, I’ve been using Patreon and Commissions as a helpful way to cover bills easier. Going forward, I’m not going to need that source of help that much. This gives me a lot more wiggle room with what I can work on and lets me work on personal projects more readily like gifts to friends and just general things I want to make. This will come with some changes though, trimming a few of the more time consuming things I work on.

The highest donor tier on Patreon is ending, tiers will now just be $3, $5, and $7

For a while now, Patrons who pledged $25 got all the other benefits of being a patron and a monthly mini fic ~1K in length. I’ve decided to end this for now. They were fun to write, but the process of fulfilling all these usually ate up a week of time and left me a little winded. 

Thank you so much to anyone who’s ever been a part of this tier. I’ve made a lot of short fics I’m proud of and happy with through this. I’m hoping to replace these fics with some other short story series, though it’ll likely be free / have a few days of Patreon exclusivity. 

Commissions: Up from $20 to $25 per 1K. 

I’ve had a huge volume of commission requests I haven’t been able to keep up with yet. The demand’s high enough I’m going to adjust my prices a bit higher again.

If you got into contact with me before this announcement, don’t worry. Anyone who got into contact with me earlier than this announcement will have the $20 rate honored. This doesn’t mean we needed to start talking details, so long as you expressed interest, I’ll give you the lower rate.
