Added 2020-07-24 04:59:56 +0000 UTCIn before the bell (still tonight for me!!!!) here’s the (near) final cut of Perseverance VS Curiosity!!! Let me know if you catch any factual error or major flaws! Otherwise we’ll be posting this likely on Saturday! Yay! https://youtu.be/naY8wyL3QyE

Regarding refueling on orbit, how many trips would a tanker have to make to completely refuel an orbiting Starship and what are the dynamics. I read that the payload is 100 tons to orbit while it requires 3000 tons of fuel. Is this correct?
2020-12-26 00:00:51 +0000 UTCreally interesting and such an exciting mission. I had no idea about all the other missions they are preparing, it is wonderful! Would like to know more about turning CO2 into O2, can we use this to safe our earth?
2020-08-24 21:28:32 +0000 UTCGreat video time. Got my Martian t shirt now too! Love it!
2020-08-06 22:40:32 +0000 UTCSuper informative and well-presented video. I'm a long time viewer, but this video pushed me over the edge into a small (for now) Patreon membership. Great work, stay norminal. JPZ
2020-08-01 19:59:50 +0000 UTCYou said you’re shooting 6K, what did you get? Blackmagic pocket?
2020-07-27 14:09:17 +0000 UTCLove it I agree with Darrel crane that you should mention that the old treads spelled JPL in Morse code
2020-07-25 15:37:41 +0000 UTCYou kind of make Perseverance out to be a rehash of Curiosity with a few extra bells and whistles.
2020-07-25 02:12:38 +0000 UTCDon't know if you want to mention that the old treads spelled JPL in morse code on the surface. Will the oxygen created be in some type of chamber on the MOXIE or released to the atmosphere, and can mars atmosphere retain any oxygen released? Thanks.
Darrel Crane
2020-07-25 00:28:42 +0000 UTCTim, excellent work, as usual. If this whole COVID thing ever gets resolved, I'm still holding out for a midwest meet-up! :-) BTW, feedback on this vid - I mostly noticed things that others have already pointed out, so I "liked" those comments to indicate "+1".

2020-07-24 20:50:46 +0000 UTCAs always, great video Tim! Just FYI incase you ever need, I'm a filmmaker in Los Angeles with a sweet of camera, audio and lighting equipment and would love to volunteer to help you out if you're ever in need!
2020-07-24 20:28:57 +0000 UTCHi Tim. As allways REALLY REALLY good content. A minor detail - I don’t know if it’s on purpose, since this is a preview: the link for the movaglobe (everydayastronout.com/movaglobes gives me an 404 - awesome video though

2020-07-24 15:12:01 +0000 UTCLove how you put that globe on the desk, with a popup, because everyone is going to ask. Video is good, seen nothing which needs correcting.

2020-07-24 14:18:51 +0000 UTCI noticed this too but was thinking maybe it was just my connection issues causing it
2020-07-24 13:30:26 +0000 UTCThat was perfect amount of content! Looking forward to the mission starting...
2020-07-24 13:17:33 +0000 UTCDear Tim, this is another great video, and your new studio looks and sounds awesome. Since you asked for comments, I'm going to say, and this may drive you nuts, the video and audio seem slightly out of synch (video slightly ahead of audio?). There, I said it. Maybe it's just me.

2020-07-24 12:22:13 +0000 UTCI like it very much! My only suggestion is perhaps to review the transition around minute 03:00 from your close up to the next graphic. it's cut a bit too early in my opinion and it could be smoother... but it's a very minor thing
2020-07-24 10:15:16 +0000 UTCAlso I would probably make the Bobak video a bit louder. Those are just the little things I noticed. You're awesome! #teamspace
2020-07-24 09:27:03 +0000 UTCGreat video! I would maybe do capital C (at 2:44 when you present the timestamps) - Curiosity.
2020-07-24 08:58:18 +0000 UTCContent is very interesting though I think you slightly mis-pronounced radioisotope thermoelectric generator (I couldn't easily tell how many words you were saying). One other minor issue... The intro music was hella loud compared to the previous content from the intro sequence. Otherwise, great stuff!

2020-07-24 07:57:37 +0000 UTC👆🏼I mean. Showing numbers like 474 and 8864 nanomoles/liter but talking about 18000-something more oxygen... Just a small comment that made me rewind a few times.

2020-07-24 07:34:29 +0000 UTCLove it!! I think the square diagrams of atmospheric gas concentrations are a little confusing since you simultaneously talk about the oxygen content and not the total gas concentration.
Tobias Petersson
2020-07-24 07:32:18 +0000 UTCVery good, and super interesting. You talk about cool stuff without going into too much technical detail. AND Mars is after all the main game for us space geeks. The rest of it, rocket engines, super heavy and all the development at Boca Chica are just the means unto an end.
2020-07-24 06:00:15 +0000 UTCAwesome as usual. Thanks Tim!
