Still trying to figure out when exactly, but I'm thinking it'll be Sunday afternoon central time. BUT... I want your ideas on what challenge I should do in Kerbal Space Program. I reallllly want to just casually play Kerbal again like the old days, so give me something fun to do and I'll do a poll later of my favorite ideas!

Dual Starships to Duna, with colonists. Launch separately. Dock together in LKO. Burn to Duna. Separate before entry. Land close to each other. Party!

Tweak Blue Origin by launching fully fueled Starship (no booster) straight up. How high would it go? How long in zero g? How fast would it be going when it hit the atmosphere? Could SpaceX test tile survivability without sacrificing a booster? I expect it's been done, but I haven't seen it.

Launch the Webb to L5? Bring asteroid 986 DA into Earth orbit? (https://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/q22lqp/university_of_arizona_researchers_say_just_2/)

not sure if it's possible with mods on PC as I've always just played on PlayStation (its horrible I know) but trying to catch a superheavy booster or 'land' it on the catch arms from launch tower, again if that's even something that can be modded into the game.

Aerobrake a Starship into Low Mars Orbit, and land on Phobos. I've done the math, and can provide prop and cargo figures, if desired.

Not sure it's practical, but cracks at design and use would be great. Can't get out of the envelope and cut launch costs further without trying.

Replicate some Indian spacecraft tech. India is coming along. Or build your own Russian style rocket. Your an expert in that tech now.

Build a Saturn-Shuttle

1) Establish Kerbin orbit fuel depot, that suppies... 2) Jool orbital fuel depot via a cycler. 3) Use to science TFOO Jool system. Probably more work than one stream would support. lol.

try to land starship like the shuttle? or vice versa?

That or I agree to try simulate "Lucy" to the asteroids. Really seems like a fun journey.

Ship20 orbit and all that implies, but launch any max payload as SpaceX plans to for Starlink deployments. Like a whiplash flip. If that's correct.

A 3 part mission to Dres! Orbiter, lander, rover. Or just do Duna with Perceverance / Ingenuity.

Although dont think Kerbal can do that yet

What I would love to see: Replace raptors with similar thrust aerospikes. I still believe aeros are the grail for heavy and ship. and in full flow for that matter.

If you want something crazy, try for example building a rocket which will use all of the engines in the game :) But otherwise get Crew Starship with Tanker Starships refuelling to Duna.

I have an idea what if you do the #dearMoon project as realistic as possible?

Aldrin cycler!

Get into Mun (or other) orbit using only the space bar (no other key presses allowed).

Dear Moon, or Artemis, complete with the required on orbit refueling

How about something like the upcoming Lucy mission?

Max reusability Mun (Luna) or Duna (Mars) missions?

I think you should do a round trip to Moho!

KSP idea: SN20 orbital flight and then the dear moon project

Tour of the Kerbol system using gravity assists, including a fly-by of all planets and most moons?
