Thank you, and I appreciate your feedback! I’m aiming to keep the plot point at that time in the series where McGee knows the hulk is human most of the time but he doesn’t know the name or face. Indeed, she’s trying get past him not really assault him. I’ll make sure that is clearer in the final art. McGee is doing a Hail Mary without his tranq gun, hoping his voice and presence could be enough keep her there. A false hope indeed. In the end, SheHulk escapes and McGee’s companion didn’t witness the transformation.

David tripping over some easily avoidable (even if he was in a hurry) pipes always came across as too "formulaic" to me. Your version, where the character is actually trapped and changes out of pure fear of being caught feels more dramatic and also gives McGee another opportunity to witness the metamorphosis in person. His reaction to Hulk's charging towards him is somewhat understandable, though he continues to misinterpret her intentions as violent when all she wants is to get away, following the same desire as her alter ego. Nicely done, V, and I'm looking forward to seeing this finished as well as your version of the off-screen 1st transformation from the episode.
