I’m moved in!! I hand over the old keys soon, I’m so sad at how wrecked it is after the flood.

If I forgot to update: my old apartment flooded the day after I left, I had left behind my furniture and just brought all my necessary boxes. My landlord texted me the next morning to ask if I was okay, as the company let him know there was significant damage. I made my way over and found the door broke open by firefighters and the house was full of running hot fans. It was so humid and I was so upset. I resorted to just letting scheduled posts do their thing, as I didn’t have my wifi set up yet either. It’s coming this afternoon, and I have nothing left at the old apartment.

So all is well! My old building is able to fix the repairs in my old apartment, but my next door neighbour’s ceiling caved in. So we wasted no time getting t f out of there, just in case.

I’m unpacking today! Settling in and hoping to get the studio ready to finish some commissions!
