Update 1.10.20A

Hello everyone! Since we shifted this to this new schedule I will have more time to properly plan out each update, and of course properly relay this news to you guys. This will be the start of pre-update planning (I feel like I say this alot), I’m going to make one of these either a day or two before or after the most recent update. So, with the update coming out on the 7th I thought now would be a good time to get started on the next update, there's lots to do so let's get started.

What’s coming to the next update?

The main thing I want to get added in version 1.10.20A is immobile May, this is going to be my primary goal of this update. So, what will this entail? Well I want to get her bed breaking event done, along with getting some basic interactions with her done, aka, talking to her, helping her with some tasks and of course eating with her or feeding her ;) This is going to require a mild code overhaul, which I have already done most of it so we are like 20% of the way there. The only code I need to added is a modifier that will change her from being your aide to just being around I guess, this will be pretty easy as I already have an idea on how to do this, along with making it possible for her to become your aide again if she regains her mobility along with the possibility for the player to have both her and Charles in the event you hire him after she become immobile. From here it's just writing that will be the majority of the work, which I think me and the writers could knock out before the update comes out, or atleast a pretty good chunk of it.

My secondary goal is to get the mind altering spell working on May and all other NPCs. This is pretty straight forward as I already made most of the new code following the poll I put out a little while ago. So, all I need to do is put it all together in a new system and copy it over to other NPCs. I'm thinking each NPC will have a mental fortitude stat, which will determine how hard it is to alter their personality. For example let's say we have Catrain, let's say she has a fortitude stat of 16 and maybe she doesn't really like the player and we don’t know much about her, we wouldn't be able to alter much about her, or at least not very quickly. Whereas let's say May has a mental fortitude stat of 7 and we know alot about her and she likes us it will be very easy to alter her, you would be able to make large changes very quickly and without much resistance. For the mental alter spell I will probably add a skill level to it that you could increase by changing aspects of NPCs or by practicing on peasants (either helping them or doing whatever you want with them).

So, that's what I plan on getting done by the 21st, this update will be on the 7th, it adds 110 new descriptions to musterbating (each race now has their own distinct descriptions). Till next time, bye for now.
