The only reason most people hate her is she is portrayed as Ellie’s villain but like…she is a good character and her and Ellie have a lot of the same reasons for their actions. Both do horrible shit. But at least Abby tried to walk away in the end. Ellie lost everything because she couldn’t let it lie. Plus, Abby and Lev literally mirror Ellie and Joel—and Ellie almost killed Abby the same way Abby killed Joel, it’s just an endless cycle.
