Please help !
Added 2022-10-17 07:14:44 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I need your help to help :)
Due to a question of one Patreon that asked for help, I am looking for a way to help out, and since I don´t really know an answer, maybe you could help me out a little.
On what plattform are you watching Dr. Who episodes in the UK, when you watch my reactions to them? And are they still nsynch eversince the series 4 special episodes?
Thank you for every answer. Because there is nothing more annoying than having to synch the video every 5 minutes in order to be able to watch a reaction to it. I´m speaking from experience.

Here are the steps I used to configure the tool: Add the "Enhancer for YouTube" app to the browser - we want version 2.0.116 of the app or better. In my case it moaned that my Chrome was a bit out-of-date. When I added the app, it opened a tab to set the app's options. Otherwise, view the YouTube video and select the "Options" button (on the far right for me) which opens a new tab to set the app's options. In the "Playback speed" section, set "Speed variation" to 0.02. Optionally, add the "Decrease Playback Speed" and "Increase Playback Speed" buttons in the "Controls" section (slightly higher up on the page). During playback, increase the playback speed to 1.04. I can use Ctrl-mouse wheel to adjust the speed - otherwise I can use the Speed buttons I just added.

2022-10-17 20:44:31 +0000 UTCI use iplayer, there's always a sync issue, but I honestly don't mind. Its not much of a problem.

2022-10-17 11:33:07 +0000 UTCI watch on iPlayer and have the same issue - but this also applies to other reactors I follow. I think it's due to a slightly different frame rate if you're outside the UK (25 fps rather than 24). Your blurred image is a reasonable indication; but another reactor gets around the problem by including ten seconds or so of clear footage (both video and audio) every 10 minutes; while another reactor displays s no video, but has the audio running throughout in order to act as a cue.

2022-10-17 10:17:49 +0000 UTCI've been using the "Enhancer for YouTube" plugin. I have a memory of doing something to allow me to select 0.02 as the speed variation (so I can go from 1.00 to 1.02 to 1.04) - but that setting could be a default now

2022-10-17 08:55:31 +0000 UTCI´m sorry you have to synch it up every 5 minutes. I hope the DVD will change everything for the better.

2022-10-17 08:44:55 +0000 UTCI´m glad the blurred picture helps to synch, and that it is a part of your routine. But I´m still sorry you have to do that.

2022-10-17 08:43:08 +0000 UTCI've been watching the specials using my Blu-ray discs. I use a YouTube plugin tool to change Nicole's reaction playback speed to 1.04. I had the same issue with my DVDs for the other seasons. I hoped that once we got to the HD Who shows the issue would go away, but it hasn't yet. I don't need to do this with the HD Torchwood reactions (edited to add) or the Classic Who DVD episodes.

2022-10-17 08:28:46 +0000 UTCI usually watch through BBC I player and yeah have to sometimes pause to allow you to catch up. For the next episode I'll try using the DVD copy and see if that makes a difference.

2022-10-17 08:00:07 +0000 UTCI watch Doctor Who on BBC iPlayer. I do find that I have to pause it for a second every five minutes or so to let your version catch up. It doesn't cause a major problem as I've learned to make it part of the routine and I can see your blurred picture clearly enough to know when the two are getting out of synch.
