It's time for our March Patreon-exclusive audio topic: CAPTURED.

Your plot for this month must start with either the speaker OR the listener being captured. 

You'll pick at least one bullet point from each category below, then combine your choices to help you build your story. Character type/race is not specified, and is up to you!

CATEGORY 1: METHOD
* Magical seal that binds the target
* Technological trap designed to contain a rare type of alien life
* Hypnotic melody
* Gravitational distortion field
* Dream snare: pulls target into a shared illusion or dream space
* True name spell: speaking the captive's true name + spell
* And we can't leave out...a good ol' cage

CATEGORY 2: PLOT DETAIL
* The capture was a mistake
* The captor is working against a ticking clock (e.g., expiring bounty, or capturing target to actually save target from looming threat)
* The captured person has amnesia
* Prisoner is dangerous in some way
* One person holds a secret which is revealed in the story
* The capture doesn't go as planned
* Forced alliance

CATEGORY 3: RELATIONSHIP
* Long-lost siblings
* Bounty hunter & their target
* Scientist & test subject
* Ruler and prisoner
* Apprentice & mentor
* Hero & villain
* Romantic couple

CATEGORY 4: YOUR STORY MUST CONTAIN ONE OF THESE OBJECTS
* A self-playing instrument
* A compass that points to an important person, object or place
* A rice cooker
* Shattered mirror. Each shard shows one possible future
* Antidote bottle
* A pair of gloves that allows the wearer to control an external object
* An egg that is not egg shaped

You can submit up to two sets of ideas. If you do, please label them IDEA 1 and IDEA 2. Submissions can be as brief or as detailed as you like.
