2023-08-13 17:04:14 +0000 UTCHopefully you guys see this but I don’t know if Cody knows the original intention of how Steve’s character was supposed to be. Steve’s my favorite character and I love how he’s written, but the Duffer brothers from the very beginning when they created the character created him much differently than what we know now. He was originally supposed to be like Billy but worse and the rich, preppy version, and the night that he and Nancy slept together in season one, was originally written as Steve raped Nancy. Awful. What completely changed the character is when they started auditions for Steve. Joe Keery who plays Steve came in and the Duffers said his whole personality was amazing and they just were laughing and it didn’t even seem like an audition because it was so natural. They basically transferred some of Joes personality over to Steve and decided to completely rewrite the character so that we have the Steve we know and love today. Thank you Joe Keery for that one

I don’t think of any of the seasons as “worst” but season 3 was absolutely my favorite but is now my second favorite. I cannot wait for you guys to start season 4. It’s phenomenal. Please react to the trailer for it before you begin!!

2023-03-31 05:27:04 +0000 UTCI mean, maybe I need to give it time to all settle before fairly ranking them, but so far it may be our favorite 😭 I feel like it does everything seasons 1 and 2 does so well with the added benefit of the fun mall set pieces, and all of Billy’s performances (all performances are great of course lol but it was the most humanized/emotional villain so far)

So when the 'flayer schlorps somebody, he has them pack themselves full of this also-dead matter, so it's like a two for one -- he gets the person, plus all the other dead stuff they're carrying. I know - ew ew ew ew EW ew ew ew. But that's my theory on it, anyway.

The whole scene where El is heading towards the source of Billy is like watching a big budget movie, it explains some of why he’s the way he is. One of my favorite Steve moments is when he’s saying to the Russians about how “Hopper is gonna come back in here, guns blazing and kick you all the way back to Russia, you’ll be two pieces of toast” 😂😂
