$NIO TOP 20 UPDATE

$NIO is still holding its structure and I am not seeing anything abnormal here, its holding above the 200 Day MA still and it has not even tested it again since Monday.

Yesterday could have been a day difficult day for $NIO but it was in line with the market.

Bullish flag formed here but still in its early formation, this is a good sign, a break out here and a break above the previous high and I am happy with the impulse wave confirmation.

If you are waiting to add here, I recommend waiting for the risk to come off and for me that is still above $10.74, so it needs to hold above this level.

Thanks a lot for the swift reply!

Indeed, $10.74 was when I bought here last, it still remains a good area to buy, more price action has come in and when presented with a bull flag like this, a break above is a good indication to buy

Sorry if this is also already asked (and answered) 2 million times. I am quite new here so still finding my feet - and already holder and looking to add (at the right moment/price). On 12/7 we got a buy-alert: at that moment it was above $10,74. Was that the reason to add at that time?

Khnum Holding

Much appreciated. Some people on here have a thing or two to learn about manners.

Dan G, I don't know if this needs to be said, but moving average is the average price of a stock over a period of time. 200 day MA is the average price of the stock over the past 200 days. 50 day MA is the average price of the stock in the past 50 days. That's why they move, because everyday the stock trades, the MA moves. If the price is above the 200 day MA...Usually that's a bullish sign, because the 200 day MA is used as a key support for the stock. If it crosses under it...that's a bearish signal. Not always, but usually. Keep asking questions, we're all here to learn, earn and be a friendly community

Which is called golden cross. Amin! 🙏

Bucefalus

As Nio heads back toward $11 it will make that 200dma(yellow) curl and head back up like the 50dma(blue) did in late June. Right now, 10.08 is solid support .. we want that 50dma to cross the 200dma while heading up back where it came from.

Labo

Yes.

Bucefalus

Barchart says 200 MA is 10.08.

Dan G

The MAs come from the past and is not drawn by hand, it is actually curve. So, the yellow line that is talked about, 200 MA, is almost right below the price. It plays as a support now, if price goes below that line, bulls are in a trouble, as myself too.

Bucefalus

Yes the moving blue line is the 50 Day MA and the yellow moving line just above that is the 200 Day MA.

Gareth Neary

Are you going to say the same to Gopal too?

Dan G

You should keep your opinions to yourself. I’m here to learn and that’s what is being offered as part of the package.

Dan G

The Blue line is 50 Day MA?

Gopal

You should not be investing if you don’t know what yellow line he’s talking about.

Rami Jaradat

There’s at least 5 yellow lines.

Dan G

I have answered this question about 2 million times now.

Gareth Neary

200 Day MA is the moving yellow line on the chart.

Gareth Neary

Will save me asking you the price every time.

Dan G

How do I identify the 200 day MA on your charts?

Dan G

How long does it need to hold above $10.74 before the risk is off?
