ATOM Feed sort of working

Milestone goal #4 was to have a change feed implemented. The main page now has an ATOM feed for use by RSS/ATOM feed readers (though there does not seem to be an icon). This is experimental. Those who use ATOM feed readers please comment in this thread if there is any problems with this. I managed to make it work with Feedly.com.

I tried again; same results, still seeing the eye. then I unsubscribed, closed the page, reopened Digg, and tried to resubscribe. Now it claims I am subscribed but won't show me the page. Clearing the cache hasn't worked immediately. I will try again later.

I did some jiggering. At your leisure you might want to try the feed again.

Nyrath

Phooey. That's the fallback link.

Nyrath

I get a hotlink to the main Atomic Rockets page.

James Sterrett

When I use Feedly.com or the internal ATOM reader in Firefox, the title of each posting is a hot link to the altered section. That is, in the first listing you should be able to click on "Basic Design" and go to the altered section. Eyeball with green skin, ah, I though I had fixed that. Sheesh, back to the salt mine.

Nyrath

By the way, the feed included a eyeball icon with green skin.

James Sterrett

That link works, and I got 11 items. It would be nice if the postings included a link to the altered section - or is that something that's not working yet?

James Sterrett

Ah, apparently Digg Reader is for RSS, but the Atomic Rocket feed is ATOM.

Nyrath

Arrgh. I'll try to fix that. Should be at <a href="http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/AtomicRocketsAtomFeed.xml" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.projectrho.com/public_html/rocket/AtomicRocketsAtomFeed.xml</a>

Nyrath

What is the link? Digg Reader failed to find anything at <a href="http://www.projectrho.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.projectrho.com/</a> to subscribe to.
