The price has been consolidating along this level since 26th of October now, so a full month the bulls and bears have been battling.
$SOFI I believe does offer value at this level an is significantly down since its July high in the $11's, so holders here are likely adding while the price is down at the 0.618 Fib, which is understandable.....I suspect they will continue to add if the price where to go lower too.
Price is still below the 200 and 50 Day MA on the daily chart, the bulls want to flip these levels to really start a reversal.
