You did notice I used the term "pseudo-libertarian." Since it has been my experience if I ask five self-identified libertarians to explain their philosophy, I invariably get thirteen mutually contradictory answers. And they all will assure me that theirs is the "true" libertarianism. I use "pseudo-libertarian" as a term because it is fewer words than "libertarian as commonly understood by joe-shmoe on the street from TV and news items."

Y'know, over in Libertaria it's always been my experience that people place a very high premium on keeping one's word, mostly because in a world that runs solely on _voluntary_ interdependency, people who don't grasp this particular necessity find themselves enjoying many opportunities in the "starving, naked, on the run, in the dark" industry.

Alistair Young

While pseudo-libertarians have life expectancies of a mayfly in space, I wonder if the various socialist anarchist communities here on Earth could make a go of it in space? One in particular is the Freetown Christiania group in Denmark. They are anarchist that believe in the common good and consensual rules. They refuse to adhere to the rules imposed from outside, only the rules they impose on themselves will they obey.
