2020-10-11 00:16:17 +0000 UTCI'm reminded of an episode of Mandrake The Magician comic strip where Mandrake and Lothar go to the home world of Magnon, Emperor of the Galaxy for some reason. The two of them went into the bathroom together and Lothar's whiskers were yoinked off his face when he got close to the mirror. Mandrake decided not to chance losing his pencil thin mustache to the mirror and found other means to be clean shaven. The fact that Lothar didn't lose his eyebrows or eyelashes to the mirror, means it knows the difference between scruff and something not scruffy. I think Mandrake's mustache would have been fine.
