Added 2024-04-28 17:54:16 +0000 UTCI wrote a detailed commentary on Friday on $AMZN because we needed to examine whether there was a possibility that this too could move like $GOOG and go higher again so please check that commentary out.
The big question is whether $AMZN buys back shares or starts a dividend or does both like $GOOG
Before this week there would have been no chat about this but $GOOG felt the need to go incredibly aggressive for their report....the real question is, why did they feel the need to do this as it was already at its ATH line?....a solid earnings should always be enough right?....but we know this is not the case, when an impulse wave is complete, its complete, it may go extended slightly but the ABC correction always comes next.
$AMZN may take another approach, they are much more focused on growth to their business model over giving the market what they want to hear.
So I am very interested to see how this plays out.
They have the playbook however, they know that share buybacks and a dividend announcement has a high probability of pushing this higher, its a tactic that will most certainly work.
