Interview with Joshua Kushner

I sat down and spoke with Joshua on Thursday evening, we have been trying to get an interview together for about 2 weeks and it fell on the day that the markets started to really erupt so it was a great time to catch him for some time to pick his brain on $OSCR and the market.

First of all, I want to say that Joshua is a very interesting and capable person, we are similar in age but he dwarfs anything I have achieved, so I was very happy to hear that he has been following my account for some time and was eager to sit down for a chat with me.

We spoke for some time, some chat was off the record but any questions I asked in relation to $OSCRs financials, he answered as he would if he was speaking to any interested investors.

He asked me where I believed the share price would move to in terms of technicals and what I believe is the defining factor for the recent decline since October '24.

We need to remember that CEO's and Founders do not overly focus on the share price or the short term, their goal is to focus on growth and expanding their business, effective use of capital allocation and hitting the targets which they shared with the market.

So one of the first points Joshua made clear to me is that the company is focused on growth, margins and expansion.

That being said, $OSCR is his baby and he wants to see the share price do well and his investment company did add in early November when the share price was in the $13 range, so he is aware of the movement and got a very nice entry again.

One of the first statements he made is that "It is clear that $OSCR is undervalued"....we were off to a good start.

He spoke about the road to profitability, how many players in the sector have not survived over the last few years, how strong their balance sheet is and how they continue to expand.

My first question to him was:

"Under the Trump administration, are you concerned that ACA may be scrapped or altered and will this affect the future of $OSCR, since the majority of their revenue is from ACA"?

He said, that he does not believe it will be dissolved and acknowledges that Trump could explore a way to improve on the ACA but it does not appear to be a priority right now for the Administration.

He followed this up with an important message: Both Republicans and Democrats support the ACA and a lot of voters are covered by this program, removing such a program or altering it in any way would cause a lot of upset for voters and constituencies, something no party wants to see happen.

I then asked him about $OSCRs plans to expand to more than 20 states and is there possible international plans outside of the US and as you would expect from someone like Joshua, he is quite ambitious and believes there is no limit to how large $OSCR can grow and at least nationwide is achievable soon.

I was particularly interested in chatting about the fundamentals with Joshua, the technical side is something that is very clear to me but when I first started analysing $OSCR, I could hardly believe their projections for 2025, 2026 and 2027. EPS growth of +161$ YoY for the next 5 years.

When I first started analysing $HIMS in March last year, $HIMS was in a very similar situation, incredible growth prospects and expected to turn profitable within a few quarters and if the management continued their growth as expected, the share price would look after itself.

$OSCR is in the same situation right now, they are expected to be profitable in 2025 and if they achieve the targets they have told the market then the share price will also look after itself, as it has done with $HIMS.

So I questioned Joshua on this, I was frank, I said they were ambitious....which is a good and bad thing, if they execute flawlessly then the share price could be multiples of what it is now....but if they miss or lower projections, the price may not recover to the same heights.

His answer was clear: "The projections we have set forward for this year, 2026 and 2027 are realistic expectations and we intend to hit them" this was said with conviction.

He gave me no doubt that they were not overestimating their projection.

I have done a lot of research on the companies that Thrive Capital have invested in (which Joshua founded) and it is a remarkable selection:

$HIMS, Instagram, Nubank, Slack, OpenAi, Spotify, Stripe, GitHub, Databricks, $HOOD, Warby and a number of other high profile companies.

Their ability to see new markets and pick future winners is impressive.

He explained that they have taken enormous knowledge from these companies as start ups and know what works well and what does not, they have a blueprint and they strictly follow it.

I believe that Joshua and his Co Founders would not have set up a company like $OSCR unless they first believed it was needed and could also be a sector leader.

Many investors buy companies due to the talents of their CEO and Founders, $OSCR is both undervalued fundamentally and technically with an exceptional team, I am further convinced of my own hypothesis on $OSCR and my interview with Joshua confirmed my own assessment

$OSCR is a company to buy and hold for a long term.

Fantastic. I only have one doubt but english unfortunately isn’t my first language, so I could have missed the precise sense: when you say “he gave me no doubt they were overestimating their projection” you mean that projections should have been lower?
