Right now it def feels like you're setting up Kard and Clive to be more reoccurring style protagonist ala Conway and Tavo so doubt either are gonna end up failing their remaining tests. Honestly I'm just waiting for Uncle Jed to show back up for his punishment, cause when you wrote that the thieves guild punishes rule breakers with immobility the "foreshadowing comeuppance" alarms were deafening. Ain't no way this story ends without him in a guild cell bemoaning between burps his inglorious fatty fate.

I’ve said this before, but you’re SO great at balancing the kink content with good and engaging characterization & storytelling!
