Quick Status Update

Apologies for the lack of activity for the last week. On Tuesday, my downstairs neighbour (who is 83) told me that there was water coming into her flat from the ceiling.
After much expense involving emergency plumbers, some more competent than others, the problem was identified as a burst pipe under my floor. Unfortunately, the pipes in here are lead because the building is 112 years old. So I had the entire thing ripped out and replaced with more modern materials.
The problem is this now means I only have half a floor, so getting that fixed is the next step.
It's not as urgent as stopping a waterfall in my elderly neighbour's home though, so expect Waifu Wars to be unaffected .
