Added 2022-06-02 22:24:45 +0000 UTCI think my last life update I was telling you how I was going to be spending the Summer in Alaska, well that sorta fell through for a handful of reasons. I'm honestly not too upset I'm going to be spending the Summer in the Bay though.
Hmm so since the last update, I decided I'm spending the Summer here, I've picked up a new job bartending which has been an experience so far. I actually have no real experience bartending and as some know didn't actually start drinking again (after an almost 5 year pause) just a few months ago. It's safe to say I don't know much about alcohol or bartending. I've been doing it for about a month now and feel semi comfy, atleast making cocktails. Being a barista for so many years I feel like helped prep me for this, the only big learning curve is learning the ingredients, which my bar has sooo many of. Otherwise everything else is pretty easy, my coworkers are wonderful and the customers that come in are so chill and friendly too.
I think that's the only super notable thing since the last update. I have a few travel plans in the works, New York City, Chicago, Austin, and possibly Mexico City come this Fall.
Other than that, I'm enjoying a calmer Summer here in Oakland.
