Artwork Preview - September Poll
Added 2021-09-28 20:07:53 +0000 UTCWith the results of the poll in, Tsuu has already gotten back to me with preliminary compositions for the October commission!
First up, is my own pick—by popular demand, Yoshika's spirit form! I really love how the composition turned out on this one, and I cannot wait to see it in color. Her tail isn't visible here, but I've let the artist know and that should be fixed in the final version.
Next is the winner of the poll, Seong Eunae. As a few people have already pointed out, this composition is a bit more reminiscent of her sister Misun than the Eunae we all know. I've asked the artist to tone down the provocative outfit a bit, and give her a gentler expression, so I'm looking forward to the finished product.
The last sketch is our second place poll-winner. You know, for a while I thought for sure it was going to be either Ienaga or Dae in this spot, but Yan Yue made a hell of a comeback. Honestly, this one is pretty much perfect. Spot on for how I imagined her. I really love the way Tsuu did her hair, with the loose locks coming down from the buns and the fancy ornamentation in her hair. And the sly, mischievous expression is just 100% Yue.

2021-09-28 22:22:04 +0000 UTCIt's a bit hard to tell without color but it actually looks like some fairly light ornaments at the end of some braided sections. Yoshika's spirit form is a combination of Jia and Eui's idealized selves, though, and I could see a bit of jewelry coming from Eui's influence, even if she lacks the confidence to actually wear it herself.

On a more serious note, Yoshikas clothing is fine (I like the floating thingy), but I'm not sure if she would be the kind of person to wear such prominent jewelry.
