'Stop The Fucking Car' - The Safe Camp Sessions

For the second installment of The Safe Camp Sessions we chose and oldie/goodie... 

A reminder that TSCS are reinterpreted versions of our jams put through a cosmic blender of sorts.  This lens is essentially the one we look through when creating was to play these songs in intimate settings like our pre show VIP performances, radio shows, etc.

It is such an inspiring exercise for us and having you all to share it with makes it that much more special.

A note that we are all struggling with how to proceed at the moment.  It feels inappropriate to promote anything besides a demand for justice, equality and accountability.  

Some pause for reflection, listening and self education is what feels most needed right now.  With that said it's also important to realize that these atrocities are nothing new and we all must learn how to integrate anti-racist action into our everyday existence, not just when a Black person is murdered by the police.  When the sensationalized footage & headlines go away we need to keep our awareness tuned to the truth that this imbalance requires a committed opposition. 

We will be participating in a music industry wide social media black out tomorrow and to some degree the rest of the week as well but more importantly we will be thinking deeply about the things we can do to be part of a lasting change that exceeds this moment. 

Music is such a healing force and we know everyone is hurting so we wanted to get this jam out to you now rather than wait in hopes that it could be a respite for some from the overwhelming sadness, anger & frustration we are all dealing with right now.
