This was recorded last October... So things are quite different since we had this chat but nevertheless the conversation is still excellent and well worth listening to.
Esao is a great friend of mine, one of my all time favorite visual artists and also the person responsible for every Circa Survive album cover (amongst many other collaborations).
He is one of the most soft spoken and humble people I know. Talking about himself seems very far on his list of favorite things and this is one reason why it takes a little bit to get him going here but once we get past the first few minutes of small talk this chat gives you a peek into his world that I think most people rarely get.
