I'm writing you to let you know that I just dropped my first new limited edition print in over a year and it is called "Waiting For The Sun". 
I wanted to give you an early heads up before I announce it on social media. As of right now only my patreon members have had access to it. There are currently 35 of the 50 prints left. I'm not sure how fast or slow they will go once I announce so I buried it in the store until I announce it later tonight. If you want to insure you get one, hop on over to THIS LINK.
I made this painting at the beginning of the pandemic.... I was feeling a bit obsessed (and still am) with sunrises and sunsets.
I made a timelapse video of myself working on this painting for my patreon which I am now making public for you all to check out It originally had the working title of Setting/Rising 001.... I had plans to do a series of them but alas that became untenable LOL. So this baby is the one and I have officially named it 'Waiting For The Sun'.
To me it is a meditation on optimism/cynicism and of course how that plays into surviving a global pandemic. I was and still am fixated on the sunrises and sunsets of this time. For the painting I wanted to invoke the questions of : Is it rising or is it setting? Are we heading into darkness or coming out of it? Do the trees look a little funny to you? Do I have a fever? Is everything ok? Can you just tell me everything is ok?
So that is what this piece means to me.... For you, it can mean anything you want it to :)
