TDoC: Schedule, Plans, and Discord

Hey all! This post will also serve as a schedule and discord link for my patrons. There's also going to be a bit of rambling at the bottom, mostly about my goals for the future.

Schedule:

Three weeks of uploads on Wednesday at 10am Eastern, followed by a break week. Patreon supporters of the Mageblood tier and higher will get their chapters the day before.

Between arcs, there will be a two week break. I will try to commission art and/or put out a character or author Q&A during this time.

The Future of TDoC:

The Drake of Craumont is, by my own measure, an incredible success. I'm blown away that people want to pay me money to write the buff lizard girl, just a bit.

My current goal is to expand the Patreon advance chapter set from 6 to 10 chapters, while maintaining a large enough backlog that uploads are continuous, polished, and reflect the revisions I often undertake once an arc is finished. That's why we're switching to the 3 on/1 off schedule: it gives me just a bit more time to write while also allowing me to relax.

I also want to host a website for Drake... and any works I might write after. Maybe even look into publishing it.

Unfortunately, TDoC is already expensive, for me. I'm a career engineer that works by the hour. Putting more time into my hobby means taking away from what puts bread (and hormones) on the table for me. So, milestones, so I can justify doing more cool stuff!

If Drake hits 300/month I'll look into website hosting. If it hits 500/month, I'll shave some hours off work to write more, maybe push that backlog out as far as I can and hit 14-16 chapters for patrons. 1000/month would make me cry, and uuuh. No idea what I'd do with that much. Probably work less and write more?

...point is. I love writing this story, I want to do more of it, and I plan to support this story as much as my work and life allows.
