Added 2024-10-25 19:37:32 +0000 UTCGot a notice this month that we will be switching to Subscription Billing instead of First of the Month Billing. Existing members have nothing to worry about! This only applies to new members as of Nov. 4th:
The “choice” given to creators is we either start this now or get forced to do it in 2025 lol
It’s not exactly ideal based on how I deliver rewards but I’m just ripping off the bandaid and hopefully it’s a barely noticed change going forward- just thought I’d share a post if anyone’s seen whispers about the change and inform any potential new members! (ᐡㅠ ‧̫ ㅠᐡ)

It (apparently) takes effect Nov. 4th instead of the 1st! Their emails told me to take action before Nov. 1st but I guess the actual switch happens on the 4th (‘:

2024-11-03 01:32:28 +0000 UTCIt is because of Apple/iOS, and ofc people can (and should lol) use anything but the apple store to sign up! But regardless patreon is making every creator change to Subscription Billing by Nov. 2025 at the latest

2024-10-25 19:57:49 +0000 UTCIf it's just an issue with apple and iOS specifically a work around that some have found was to become a member on the web application and then sign in, unless they change it, it's just an apple Appstore issue
