[POLL] Player's Handbook 2024 Species

So I've been thinking more and more on how I think I might want to approach doing Player's Handbook 2024 species. Not sure what y'all would prefer so I figured I'd just ask here. I'll be getting the digital copy of the Player's Handbook 2024 2 weeks before its release date so I should have plenty of time to make any of the changes from Unearthed Arcana. For those that don't know the new Player's Handbook will contain the following races:

Here is the way I'm thinking of implementing them if y'all would be okay with me doing an overhaul. Otherwise, I can just make standalone species as this wouldn't be hard to do either so that's why I'm giving my community the choice of how I'll implement them. Keep in mind Overhauls of the vanilla mean that the races will be automatically compatible with any face, hairs, horns, or Unique Tav patches made. Standalone versions would require me to make patches for them.

Human ---> Human [2024]

Would replace Larian Human if you have Variant Human installed but wouldn't conflict with Variant Human.

Half-Orc ---> Orc

The MoTM version that is currently released would stay but changes provided by the official book will instead convert Half-Orc since there aren't half-races in the 2024 version since the attitude is pretty much just Role-Play Half races at least this was the stance in 2024 Unearthed Arcana but maybe in two weeks before September I'll see that they actually addressed this.

Elf (Wood Elf & High Elf) ---> Primeval Forests & Fey Crossings

Still will have the Wood Elf & High Elf names but will have the new update kinda how Fantastical Drow currently functions. The standalone version would likely contain High Elf, Wood Elf & Drow in an all-in-one race.

Drow ---> Elf [2024] Underdark Legacy

Fantastical Drow already does this. If I made them Standalone I'd make a standalone elf race that has a Drow Legacy instead.

Dwarf ---> Dwarf [2024]

Fantastical Dwarf already does this and is still compatible with the subrace Duergar.

Dragonborn --> Dragonborn [2024]

Subraces would stay but have a minimal impact other than cosmetic. Since the changes make it more of a selector. This would also let it be compatible with the Fizban, Ravenite & Draconblood subraces I plan to have available in 2.0 so should be compatible still with any other homebrew-added Dragonborns.

Halfling ---> Halfling [2024]

In Unearthed Arcana this honestly stayed mostly the same as the 2014 version but with the official PHB might be slightly different.

Aasimar [2024]

It would be a standalone new addition that wouldn't replace the MoTM version.

Tiefling [2024]

I think it will be best just to make a standalone version based off the way it has been described it looks like they won't be that compatible if I make them a subrace and will conflict with the current Tiefling lore in BG3. So this will likely still be a standalone addition like Aasimar. Just easier to also implement as a whole new race.

Gnome ---> Gnome [2024]

Similar to how Fantastical Dwarf was implemented Deep Gnome would be compatible with this and not lose any of its MoTM updates.

If stand-alone I wouldn't add Deep Gnome to it. As it's not in the Player's Handbook 2024 version.

Goliath [2024]

Easier to implement separately from the current Fantastical Goliath and there isn't a vanilla Goliath to replace. The new Goliath is drastically different as well and don't think it will make sense to overhaul a standalone race mod originally it was going to be a subrace of that Goliath but been leaning more and more against this idea as implementation will look alot more neat UI wise and official without it being a subrace.

They'll still use the same heads though. Likely a different body though.

https://www.patreon.com/posts/wave-5-news-106014261 Doing everything in this list which has several MoTM races in it. Not sure why you think I'm not doing any of them. The post we're talking on now is in regards to implementations for 2.0 which is all coming in September.

Dungeons N Souls

Ok, so no mordenkainen's anytime soon.

Konrad

Oh and the Tieflings that have been deemed Legacy I'm working on those as well.

Dungeons N Souls

Not sure what you mean? If you mean Legacy versions aside from Kobold and Yuan-ti Pureblood then no. I'm not making anything that is Legacy aside from those two. I've been actively working on everything found in D&D Beyond. This post is just focused on One D&D (Player's Handbook 2024) version to determine if I'm going to overhaul vanilla content or make standalone since the whole point of 2024 is to overhaul 2014 Player's Handbook.

Dungeons N Souls

You're planning to add more versions of already existing races before adding new ones from previous books?
