The way she holds her pregnant belly hints this is a new feeling for them, also hinting they are lying about being pregnant normally. This was inspired by something I heard in the audio commentary for Star Wars Episode III Refenge of the Sith. It was during a scene where Yoda rubs his head. George Lucas said that was inspired by the movie Seven Samurai (I think) where a ronin shaved his head to disguise himself as a monk. He kept rubbing his head because he wasn’t used to his head being shaven. An observant person like Sherlock Holmes could tell he wasn’t a real monk, like how he would be able to tell this nurse had a suspicious pregnancy.
