Corfu Island, here we are! Our "lazy" vacation in Greece
Added 2022-07-15 14:25:12 +0000 UTCOur dear patrons, please enjoy this short video about our spontaneous vacation to Corfu island. Initially we didn't plan any vacation this year: we wanted to let the kids fly to their granny in Ukraine and to continue working on the farm the whole summer. But the war changed everything. So we decided to go to the sea with the kids despite our tight schedule. And we didn't regret it.
It was our first time visiting Greece and we enjoyed it a lot despite one disappointment in the very beginning.
We are terrible travel bloggers, but I hope I was able to capture the relaxing atmosphere and welcoming beauty of the island. Our vacation is over and what about yours? Where are you going this year or maybe I should better ask where have you already been?
P.S.: The wallet was not found and I am in a process of restoring all my documents now :-)

Oh, I read it on Illia's recommendation when we just started dating. Love his books a lot, they leave such a warm aftertaste of carefree 'childhood' :-)

Funny thing: we picked Corfu as our vacation destination this year, because Illia and me are both big fans of Gerald Durrel and we wanted to visit some of the places he was describing and to feel the atmosphere. His books are so life-affirming and full of love to life and people.

I hope you get all of your documents replaced quickly and I am sorry about losing your favorite wallet and the personal items. That has happened to me and it is very upsetting. But you got on with it and it was so good to see you both so relaxed with the children and the beautiful island!!

(2) Dogsitting and visitng my sone in COlorado while he goes on vacation to Barbados. (I get to live vicariously through his pictures and stories whenever he goes on vacation.) (3) Visiting my sister in Tucson, Arizona, to see her new house, bought sight unseen online 2 years ago. Will not make it to California to see my brothers this year - maybe next year!

We travelled from Ohio to California (over 2,000 miles) to visit our daughter and her family, We had a great visit and perfect weather. Only downside was that we contracted the latest Covid variant when flying home - even with 4 vaccinations and masks! No trip to the hospital though! Whew! 😷❣️

My husband and I are going to the American southwest this year for a week to visit several ancient Native American ruins and also visit friends in Colorado. I’m sorry that your documents were stolen - I’m paranoid whenever I travel because I know that tourists are prime targets for theft.

My brother left his wallet in a London hotel last year and the maids did not find it (makes you wonder about cleanliness in 5 star hotels). But….the next resident did and mailed it to him in California with everything in place.
