I've decided this will be my next animation.
The color palette was inspired by Koharu from Najica Blitz Tactics, who I also used as inspiration for the Gestator piece. It's too bad she was only in one episode so this is sortof my way of realizing a dream of her having more screentime.
The short hair was slightly inspired by Ruby Rose whom I saw recently in the new John Wick Chapter 2 movie.

Sometimes I like girls with really short hair, sometimes...
I was debating wether the first and second panels should be switched since the scene should be established before the action, but I wanted to show her in the room after the parasite pokes out to show how she behaves when that happens, which is to pretend everything is normal. This taps into our experiences of needing to go to the bathroom or something during class or during a meeting.
You may notice I write little notes on the rough sketch. That's because I forget things easily :9. Also there were two other male coworkers in the original idea, one of them presenting the slides, but the lighting was going to be complicated since the presenter was halfway in the light of the projector.
I'm also announcing the first video game will be 2D side-scrolling, but I really want to make a 3D sandbox game in the future. I'm still learning how to make a 3D game but the 2D game is much simpler to make.
