This is inspired by a lesser known cliche of a parasite emerging from the mouth and controling a person. In this version it also wraps around the face, completely covering the face.
Her expression shifts to different feelings. Surprise, pain, pleasure, surrender, and others. It's more realistic I think to sometimes have a character have multiple emotions at once during a possession, sometimes conflicting emotions.
The parasite growing in multiple phases I think would cause panic, like one disaster happening after another. A domino effect so to speak.
I just love the last pose with the hands on the hips and the pronunciation of the pelvis.
In the second panel her hair falls down because she raised her head and bends her neck. This is unusual for anime style who have very stiff bangs, but I thought I'd try adding realistic physics and see how it looks. It probably looks a lot better as an animation.
