A big parasitic bug replaces a woman's belly with itself. I'm thinking of making two version. One where the bug absorbs itself into her belly and one where it devours her organs and burrows into the cavity. I'm kind of against guro, blood and violence but it just makes so much sense for this specific possession.
The bug legs sticking out have three visual functions. One is like a dark gross representation of wings, similar to Infested Kerrigan from the Starcraft series. The second reason is to give the parasite a challenge to hide. There isn't always excitement when the evil creature of a monster movie is invincible. Similar to how John Carpenter's 'The Thing' needs to hide it's true identity from humans, this bug has to hide its big bug legs. Thirdly, after using its female host to get close to a male human for mating and feeding, it can grab him with its legs (without leaving her body) in order to extract sperm and maybe blood from him.

Maybe. I'd like to do that at least once. But for this one I think it can use both sets of eyes.
