The monster is kissing her on the neck. My theory as to why it is "romantic" or "erotic" is that we have invisible comfort barriers. The neck is in a gap between the chin and shoulders. To kiss the neck is to penetrate that gap, and so it is a psuedo-form of intercourse.
An interesting thing is both sexes seem to like big monsters "taking" women. The fantastical physical size of monsters represents power, which is desirable. This monster carrying her higher than a human can carry her reminds us subconciously that this monster is owerful and superior to humans (as a sexual partner), thus increases the erotic factor as fantasy porn.
Originally the legs of the creature were going to be ribbed but I didn't want them to be confused with the ribbed parts of her spacesuit.
