Phew, it's finally done (: Sorry it took longer than usual, I wanted to add a lot of extra reflections, shadows and texture. I'm also getting used to the updated Sketchbook app layout.
Similar to bugs in real life, this giant centipede has many small dimples in its carapace, which catch light in the form of specks.
I lerned from a nature documentary called 'Alien Empire' that bugs with bright colors mean they are poisonous. Poisonous = Danger = Excitement = Arousing. The bright colors add to this creature's "sexual power" status in our subconciouses.
If you turn the picture upsidedown you can clearly see this girl is smiling. I'd like to make a lot more of these happy monster/parasite pictures alongside the ones with women who are terrified.
The tentacles coming from the creature's mouth are a brighter green. Typically because of moisture an mucus, internal organs are shinier and brighter than external organs (like the skin). This just implied the mouth tentacles emerged from the mouth to kiss the girl on the neck.
The shiney effect on the carapse implies in is hard like a shell. This helps us imagine what it feels like to touch it.
