My back and neck went from bad to worse this past month. The last thing im testing out is using a drawing tablet instead of a drawing screen. I had 75% of the drawings done before my tablet arrived and finished the rest of it with it. It feels like it doesnt put pressure on my back since I can actually sit and lean back now.
It is a bit wonky to get used to, but will work on that!

Sadly I had some accidents in the past and generally ignored my health for too long because there was no free time and now "reaping the benefits" of that. Happy to know you enjoyed the pieces! The drip on the tail was an accident at first, but thought it looked nice, so kept it. Quite a few small details end up as artifacts of previous layers that I just fix up and leave. Mio's hair is one of my favorite parts of her design. The red streaks on black are fun to add. The lying pose was difficult, as all lying poses are for me. Thats why I draw them often now! Not a super fan of feet either, but it's an area that has always been lacking. Trying to study it! Even if i'm not a fan, still need to know how to draw them. Shoes is something I should studdy too soon. Especially high heels and how glossy they look, or sporty sneakers! Half closed eyes, a nice happy smile, tired, sweaty and all the other little details are some of my favorite combinations. Thats why they keep appearing often! A perfect mix of both seductive, erotic, endearing and wholesome ๐ Happy to know you enjoy it too! Thank you for all the kind words. Will keep doing my best with Mio and all the others I draw๐

I was never a fan of those arm supports for monitors to hang them on, but got one and can now keep my monitor higher up. Tackling the problem in every way possible. Thank you very much! ๐ Happy to hear the lean was obvious! That's what I was thinking about while drawing it. A certain needy Mio๐

2024-10-19 16:55:57 +0000 UTCThank you! That's actually something I bought yesterday too! An adjustable arm for my monitor, so that I can sit back properly and let my neck and back relax for once. Chairs are so expensive and painful to buy, but very worth it. Hope you get an upgrade!

Long hair is great too and it gives this very soft aura, but short is a great all rounder. Can never go wrong with giving Mio some squish ๐Thank you!

Thank you for working hard and drawing this wonderful art for us! Both pieces are great, the standing up pose I enjoy for the silhouette, looks very nice. I really admire the work put into the fluids, seems some even got all the way down on Mioโs tail, thatโs funny. Donโt think I ever mentioned this but I really like how you do Mioโs hair, the color fade from red to black looks really good. Noticed this because I love one-eyed closed expression and zoomed in all the way, looks so nice. I also enjoy how she leans forward and the breasts angle/fall accordingly, so good. And the laying down piece oh my, thatโs fantastic! The pose is awesome, really like how she reaches around her leg and how the tail curls around her foot. Speaking of feet โ Iโm not much of an enjoyer, I prefer cute shoes, but I have seen enough of them to know when they are well drawn or not that well drawn. And these are very well drawn actually, they look great! Lots of fun for the many people who love feet. The expressions on this one are fantastic as well! The satisfied grin with the closed eyes is so nice, but the bed eyes are doing it for me. Eyes half closed, big smile and a bit of blushing on the cheeks, thatโs the stuff. Again, thank you so much for these, more Mio is always welcome and much appreciated!

Things do sound bad right now, but also that they are being dealt with intelligently. I wish you the best of luck with your health! Beautiful Mio pieces just keep coming! The frontal lean has such a subtle needy vibe to it. I love it.

2024-10-17 23:36:59 +0000 UTClove the bush. I mostly mess around in CSP but I got a laptop holder attached to an adjustable display arm to hold my no-screen tablet which is nice to adjust it to however I'm sitting. Just need a chair that doesn't suck lol.

2024-10-17 18:52:47 +0000 UTCMio is one of the few characters I rarely need to even look at reference for at this point. I draw her so much, even while just doing studies and sketching! The previous Ame drawing was so alluring and wanted to give Mio a shirt like that too ๐ Happy to hear it had the desired effect. Yeah, it's the numbness and those pin and needless feeling that gets to me. But surely this has to help! Will do my best to get used to the tablet, its weird looking at the monitor while drawing. Next set will be fully drawn with it, so will see how it goes!

The open button up is a dangerous look for her, and it was clear that it had the intended effect. I'm sorry to hear about your back and neck pains, those can be the worst to deal with. I'm glad you found a position/method that seems to be working for you though. Looking forward to seeing more of your drawings!

I do miss the screen already, but I hear from other artists that its a good way to help with back pain so im hopeful! And yeah exactly. My day job involves sitting. Then my drawing involves more sitting. It's very bad ๐ We are cursed with modern society..
