I disagree, I don't think that is very fair with the people in the $5 and mainly not fair to people in the $10 which If I have to make a guess falls in the tier with the least people in. Anything they vote in may end up getting outvoted by the other tiers and sure the others may choose to upgrade, yes, but they might as well not and still vote. Then you end up with a disappointed $10 tier and then they will "have to watch" what was chosen by everyone else... The tier seems pretty pointless to me if that's the case. Imho, if I can make a suggestion, If it was me I would make the pool for the $10 tier and make an announcement post like you did with konosuba for everyone. If they want then they can join in the tier to watch. That seems way more fair to me. But then again, it is your patreon. You make the rules.

All patrons have the right to vote, it is part of the reward of being a $1 Patron, if they vote for a show they like and it wins, then it falls into either the $5 to $20 tier which then gives them the option to upgrade his/her tier to watch the show

I ended up voting for "How not to summon a Demon Lord" as it was evident that neither Testament of a new sister Devil nor Trinity Seven would be any chance.

I would say it's simply a different people voting, patreons come and go and even if they stay what they want to see next might change. Furthermore there are nearly 600 patreons but how many of them are actually in the 10$ tier ? In a poll for a show that all Patreons get they might simply be completely outnumbered.

Agreed. I'm surprised by this too. I'm not upset that Demon Lord is clearly winning this, I'm surprised that it's even considered R-rated. I watched it, I read the manga and it just surprises me.

I don’t think some of the lewd scenes in it can be considered PG-13 even if there aren’t too many of them. If you’ve seen the show you know what scenes I’m talking about. There are several things in that show I would never show to kids so I don’t agree with it being PG-13

To all those screaming "X is not r rated" just take a look at DxD, the show that initiated the Rated R tier. It's not especially brutal or gory and while it has some dark moments is mostly light hearted. Furthermore it has no actual sex and shows no genitalia. Looking only at just those aspects it's no different from shows like "How not to summon a Demon Lord". Well the one difference is that DxD shows nipples, so is it the anime nipples that suddenly make it qualified for Rated R tier ? As far as I understood it rated R here simply refers to anything with more brutality, blood/gore or more nudity / sexual tones then usual and is simply a reward for those willing to join the 10$ tier. And those on the list, at least those I know, are mostly exactly that, they differ greatly in "intensity" and frequency but they all either have a bunch of nudity / sexual tones or are more brutal/bloody then the average shonen series, or both.

Or offer a complete description what he consider a R rated show. Cus everyone has they key on this subject. Like for exemple some people think elfen lied is a simple triller or that eicchi basic panty flash is borderline hentai or sone other will consider queen blade as a famelly show....

If its not rated r it doesn't belong on list IMO. Demon lord I would barely rate as pg-13 and that's kinda pushing it.

I’m still very surprised that Shinmai Maou is losing to Demon Lord. I mean Demon Lord is really funny so I won’t complain if it wins but I assumed Shinmai Maou was gonna win cuz it has more of an in depth storyline. And I know I’m repeating myself but for those who are disappointed at the idea of Demon Lord winning just let it go if it wins cuz it’s only like 12 episodes. DBG is gonna have to choose something else after he’s done watching it so there is no point in complaining

I'm actually surprised that "How not to summon a Demon Lord" is actually on this list. It's not necessarily brutal, or has some overdone fanservice in ecchii, other than one segment of a molested by a cloth-eating slime elf girl, but even then she barely shows any skin for an ecchii event. I think DeeBeeGeek will need to redo this voting for an R-show should the currently leading anime win.

Akame Ga Kill will be a nice one since it's only 25 episodes long. Nice and kinda shirt so we can move on to others that people are really wanting. Plus Akame Ga Kill is just a DAMN GOOD show.
