Important! Potential upcoming changes to alts and issues
Added 2023-05-04 18:17:31 +0000 UTCToday I was updating legal documents for my irl work with my lawyer friend and we ended up having discussion about art.
During it I found out there are potential upcoming updates to the definition of the laws in my country, which would make genitals illegal to show, as it will be considered "indecent" and "disruptive". It's tricky with art, as it can be interpreted differently by various legal institutions. In this case, it would be required to censor them, make them not the main focus, unfinished, blurred or partially covered in some way to ,I quote and translate,"preserve the artistic value".
I'm still waiting for updates from him over the upcoming week to get a better idea of how it affects drawings. I'm trying to contact a few local art groups as it affects them as well, to hear if it really affects drawings or not.
tl;dr :
Because of upcoming updates to the laws of my country, the art I draw will most likely need to follow a Japanese like style rule of censoring for the genital area. Breasts are fine.
Please keep this potential change in mind, so you can make a decision if you want to continue supporting me on patreon if I do end up having to add a censor in the near future.
I will make a new post once I know for sure the amount of censoring i'll need to do and If i'll need to do it

ask about how it effects websites like patreon that are based in the U.S that adhere to U.S laws. I know some artists from japan that use patreon to share uncensored art because of that.
