Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 12

AHHHHH HOW COULD THEY END IT THIS WAAAAY I need the new season omggg

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 12

Comments

yeah most of us were just as horrified as Miorine was in that scene, imagine seeing something like that even if it was done to protect you

Chelle

Aw baby Suletta finally got her first kill, took long enough for a Gundam series. She's finally on the underage murderer list. Now how close will she get to Uso from Victory Gundam?

Pablonius

It's on her list! She's gonna. Along with Gundam SEED, IIRC.

Geth Who

can we get more gundam reactions maybe iron blooded orphans

lord_haseo

Alicia: I hope G kills his dad. Also Alicia: HE KILLED HIS DAD D: D: D: careful what you wish for, i guess? XD

Princess Paladin

If Suletta and Miorine don't recover from this I'm never watching anime again.

Kawaii Edgelord

Yeah... I thought the same when Martin caught her and then we cut back to the action

Quinton Macejkovic

Thanks for the reaction, it was great and yeah I was the same way too when the episode end, shock infested with brainrot theorizing how could Suletta be so casual with killing. I think at the end I settle with a theory that permet score 6 messed with her mind somehow, we know in the Shaddiq duel that when Aerial glowed blue it signal that Aerial+Suletta goes permet score 6, and in that duel that one girl noted how freakish Suletta was behaving. At the end of episode 12 Suletta and Aerial use PS6 to find Miomio, so maybe ther is some residual after effect that blinds Suletta from the gore? that my copium anyway.

fatalspeck

I was so worried for Martin during that Nika scene. I would not be surprised if he's listed among the casualties of this assault at the beginning of next season.

Mithrell

To paraphrase a Lupe Fiasco bar: They say, "Gundam rap about the same shit." That's 'cause shit ain't changed, bitch.

James Gheen

Sophie having a murder crush on Suletta is not going to be good. . . For her. She feels like the kind of character that doesn't make out the other side. Also, I feel like there is a good chance the next time we see Nika she's going to be all "oh no, guys, Martin feel down some stairs and broke his neck."

RF

Thanks for the episode

TrinitytheApostle

OK. Yeah the trigger word idea is a bit of a stretch but I still believe that she was trained to be a killer but is unaware of it because her mother is so manipulative

James mayo

There's also Episode 11 where Suletta admit that she says it to push herself, but she can't always do so because "moving forward is scary"

Lithial

Hey grandpa Gundam tell me another story,... "sure ma boy, have I told you the one of how War is BAD!"

MONDO

Welcome to Gundam.

Dusty V

AYOOO RELAX LOLOL

aliciaxlife

The worst part for me is after her mom reaches out her hand while rescuing her, Suletta tries to mimic the exact pose when rescuing Miorinne because she just knows her mom has to be right

Fuego_fish

I really really don't think it's that. Like we've seen suletta get like that with her mom without the phrase, and she and others have said while she could hear it without it doing something like that.

RF

😄thank you for your reaction! I really love rewatching with you, your personality also made me even more empathetic with some of the characters I didn’t particularly like before, and it made me love the series even more ❤️. Btw during that scene where Suletta shoots a big lazer at the earthians, the beam was green which practically meant it was in “safety”/training mode, hence the comment from that guy that said it isn’t shouldnt have been that strong as it was. Anyways im really glad I checked out your reactions! This is the first time im discovering you, and it made me feel a lot less lonely since I wasn’t the best these past weeks. I hope you best with your recovery! Someone as kind as you deserves the best. Ill also love to see any possible theory videos of this series for all your thoughts!

LeynaSept

When you realize that "move forward, gain two" is some sort of hypnotic kill switch in sulettas head. Every time she has said that or been told it, she brutalized her opponents. By the looks of it, she doesn't know it, bit she was trained to kill.

James mayo

All the gundam shows are full of sad/traumatic events and I thought it was weird that this series leaned away from that but over all I still liked it.. then they hit us with that last min and reminded everyone this is still GUNDAM lol can't wait for season 2!!

GormleyPeach

Everyone talks about how traumatic this was for Miorene, but let us also sympathize with the poor schmuck that will have to clean that shit off of Aerial’s hand.

Sander

Mom prep talk works wonder - It’d frightening how much control the mum has over Suletta. Run gain one, move forward gain two. Is some sleeper agent phrase by now

Sven Hegenbart

So, fun fact: after episode 11, there was a flood of cute fanart about the couple. After episode 12, many went and created updated variations blood and a freaked out Miorine. Edit: there's also a great bit of symbolism in the final scene. https://twitter.com/Blun_Z/status/1612144721283153920

Gore17

Hey her last name is Mercury “Momma, I just killed a maaaaan! Raised my robot sister’s hand Smashed tomato, now he is deaaaad!” Momma: “That’s my girl! ❤️❤️❤️”

Sander

I love... love... love the way this show lulls you into a false sense of security about the slogan drilled into Suletta's head by her mom: "Move forward, gain 2." It spends 11 episodes convincing you that this slogan is a good and wonderful thing that helps so many people... and then in the final episode, every single person who adopts Suletta's mantra (Miorine, Guel, and Suletta herself) loses something (or someone) incredibly important because they chose to move forward. And all because Eri's mom decides to run in the prologue (which, when you think about it, "gained 2", both her and Eri's life). It's all tied together so well.

Stefan Nelson

Damn. Now this feels like old school Gundam, holy shit.

Bob

I think watching this and Mob Psycho so close together is really interesting. Because you can very clearly contrast Prospera's reaction to a life and death situation where the child she's in charge of can be of use in winning a battle vs Reigen's reaction to more or less the same situation in the last episode of the first season.

Sharles Davis Kendy

I have been so excited for you to see this episode. I've watched so many Gundams and that still made me audibly gasped. I didn't think she'd make him unto a slushy.

Zael

My guess is something VERY similar to the prologue happened to Delling and Norette: The two of them were in danger, and she used Miorine to convince him to leave and save himself instead of staying and likely dying trying to save her. And Delling REALLY didn't want to. So while I do think Delling loves Miorine... I also think that, just as she resents her father for leaving her mother to die, I think Delling also, perhaps more subconsciously, resents his daughter for "making" him leave his wife to die.

Sharles Davis Kendy

I don't think Miorine will EVER look at Suletta the same. BUT... I do think she'll recognize someone who needs help, much like Miorine herself needed help, despite being for opposite reasons. Suletta is a good daughter. The best. To the extreme. She believes her mom literally wholeheartedly. If Prospera told her the sky is pink, then she would see pink. Go back and check the episode where she "confronts" her mom about lying to her about Aerial being a Gundam for all these years and how QUICKLY Suletta accepts the first excuse Prospera gives. To Suletta, Prospera is perfect and can do no wrong. I don't think ANYONE can pull Suletta out of this mindset other than Miorine. So I don't think Miorine will abandon her. But it's going to be tough going for the second season.

Sharles Davis Kendy

It can fly, It can dance, It can purée your girlfriend's tomatoes! Aerial! !

Alopex The Wanderer

Just got here, but I just want to say: I'm so sorry, this hadn't come out when I and others recommended it to you. I feel like I betrayed you. ;-;

Gore17

LMAOOO NOOOO

aliciaxlife

Suletta make spaghetta

Jake Thompson

God your impression of the mom was sooo chilling to bone, I love it :D :D

Christopher Schwandt

This season finale was soooo god damn brutal

Christopher Schwandt

English dub of the OP was made by the original band: https://youtu.be/C7p1RIksKp8

Sharles Davis Kendy

"The girl will come" is such a chilling line from her mom.

Sharles Davis Kendy

Its not lame, I dont want it to end either :3
