Love this dynamic with Mob and how he views people and spirits. It's something that we, as people who don't interact with spirits, have a hard time understanding, since we would naturally value people more than spirits. So if comes a day mob uses his power on people, who could really stop him considering how powerful he is and the fact we've yet to see him truly cut loose with his powers. Thanks for the upload as always :)

I particularly love how Mob Psycho 100 gets us all the really genuine slice-of-life type things baked in alongside them. ONE really does such a good job with his stories exploring the different struggles of people with extreme power. I like how Saitama from One-Punch Man & Mob both have totally different attitudes that are heavily reflective of their characters' ages. Mob having all these moments of growth and self reflection where his powers are the focus of his development are a stark juxtaposition to how Saitama treats his powers almost as an afterthought, especially because Heroes are common in One-Punch Man, but Espers are rare in Mob Psycho gives them really different dynamics for where they focus their commentary & tone.

For once i was the same as you Alicia. I was also crying silent tears throughout that bit with the family... And this is nowhere near my first time watching this, but it just keeps working.

You can also see it with the guy who wanted to curse someone. That really screwed with mobs head. The idea that someone could just walk around thinking about hurting someone else is just scary to him. It is even somewhat similar to evil spirits, beings that want to hurt others all the time.

Mob's confusion by the woman's reaction to the pervert was also because of what Reigen said near the end: Spirits, psychics, and average people are all just "normal" to Mob so his opinion didn't change when he learned the truth.

That shot of Reigen where he's just a black silhouette with red slash marks all over him really made me think that was a visual representation of him castigating himself for not being more attentive to Mob's feelings and perspective. He really cares about his pupil. :(
