If nobody has explained it yet, the guy with a beard at the gate is an orc, not a goliath like Grog. There's a mix of races in the herd.

nah, Thordak is voiced by Lance Reddick which is absolutely fantastic, Liam O'Brian voices Vorugal, Cree Summer voices Raishan.

"Ant I just wanted to watch happy funny cartoon" your watching the wrong cartoon Princess hehe
I swear Alicia is getting more down bad for that dragon every-time he comes on screen, melts a dudes face for shits and giggles and shes still simping. Ah and followed by getting down bad from getting choked by a DILF. Tbf I wouldn't mind getting choked by a MILF myself, we are all cultured individuals here after all.
Can't wait to see what happens next, Grog is my favorite character so I really hope he gets those gauntlets, maybe even becomes a Monk like that old guy who kicked his ass. Thanks for the upload :)

Grog from Amazon: "Well you see Pike, after murdering boatloads of people of various sizes, genders and ages, it me looking upon thine grandpapy's face and locket to completely change my morality of the world, and showed me how violence is wrong, and that we should help people by changing the socio economic-"
Grog from the Livestream: "We can't kill him uncle Kevdak, he's too adorable to die!"

Fun fact; during the cast's livewatch party of the episodes, Matt talked about how each Chroma member embodied a different aspect. How Thordak (ThorDICK) was the Lion of dragons, Raishan(the green one) was the Serpent, Vorugal(ice one) was the Bulldog, and Umbrasyl... was the Florida dragon.

Arent most of the dragons voiced by Matt? I know Thordak and Umbrasyl are. Im glad that most of the main villains are kept as Matt, and of course a lot of the random npcs

Not everyone in the herd was a Goliath, there were orcs and halforcs too. Goliaths cant grow hair on their bodies othwr then sometimes like normal hair but its rare.

I'd hang out on Pride Rock with you. I'm genderfluid with female biology, interested in male anatomy, but I'd hand with you any day.

Goliaths like Grog as a rule do not have any body hair even head hair is pretty rare for them but not unheard of. The guy with a mustache was either an orc or a half orc.

Also, I love the mirror of Pike having to go do something alone in S1 when Grog is worried and needing her, and this time, Grog is going off to do something alone and Pike gives the I need you line.

Yeah, there were definitely some non-goliaths as part of the herd. The orcs/half orcs, a few humans, and even one female who looked an awful awful like hmmmmmm.....

I'm pretty sure the guy with the mustache was an orc or half-orc or something since he also had tusks. Kevdak is completely bald with no facial hair and Zanror had a mohawk but still no facial hair. I'm pretty sure canonically most male goliaths were bald, some had little bits of hair and thats about it. They probably gave a lot more of them hair to make sure they all dont look like the same generic person when standing with a bunch of others.

My favorite part of Grog's story is how he approaches it with absolutely no pretense or excuse, just lays out what he did and accepts just how evil some of the things he did were. To me it makes his redemption that much more powerful that he can just face the reality of what he had changed FROM.
Also, is it just me or is Grog actually looking a lot fitter in the last scene? AM I imagining it, or is he buffing out again now that he knows what he is fighting for?

yeah, he was bringing a cart of vegetables home from the market and the herd caught him. Grog saw how helpless he was. Also, another thing is, Grog is FASCINATED by little folk like gnomes and halflings: In the campaign he ran to meet Pike's family screaming "GNOMES!" and Kima was his favorite person outside of the party. My head canon is that he had never saw a little folk before Wilhand and felt for him, cuz he was the runt of the litter when he was a kid (as confirmed by a member of the herd in the campaign). He also mentioned he was a bootmaker in his back story video, so my theory is he was too weak to raid in his youth and had to stay back and worked on leatherworking for the herd.

People also seem to forget that there is always going to be "that one thing" that makes the difference, that's just how TIME works, lol. We see Grog change with Wilhand, but that doesn't have to mean there was nothing before that contributed, we just didn't see it...which doesn't make the story any less legit.

exactly I've heard a lot of people say like "that was all it took to change him?". it was different in the campaign if i remember correctly though, i think wilhand was alone in the woods and he stood up for him

If Grog had decided to save any other person before or after Wilhand, he would have indeed died. It was by virtue of saving Wilhand that he could have saved that beating from Kevdak. It's almost like fate, isn't it?

lol that sexy dragon voice you love is matt mercer. also its a herd of barbarians not all half giants(half giants cant grow beards). but that guy with the mustache had tusks so i think so he was a half orc.

Regarding the no beard thing. not all members of the herd are half giants. The dude with the mustache was an orc or half orc. It looked like there were some humans too. But all the ones with the grey skin only had hair on their head.

I was getting concerned about you having a bad day. So when Umbrasyl brutally murdered one of the Herd with his acid and you stopped the video, I thought βthis is too dark for her today.β Next words out of your mouth: βThis dragon is so fucking hot.β π
