The Legend of Vox Machina 2x10

LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Legend of Vox Machina 2x10

Comments

They just casually made the best metal video in a long time lol

Turbo Flea

The discussion about the game involving the train (I presume it is) beforehand was rather enlightening. I've avoided watching anything to do with it as wanted to go in blind, but this does sound worrying. Originally subbed to you for your genshin/honkai stuff so your opinion on the matter definitely carries weight for me. Is there somewhere you go into more detail on how much they changed? I presume would be during said second beta test, in which case time to go dig back through.

Aethergoggles

Thanks for the episode

TrinitytheApostle

I just adore the fact that "I WOULD LIKE TO RAGE!!" has become the quintessential war cry of Grog and Barbarians around the world. Like, this was literally just Travis asking to use his Rage ability as a Barbarian. Just telling Matt what Grog was doing.... but it has grown. I! WOULD! LIKE! TO! RAGE!!!!!!

Dyno

Damn now I need to add that metal song to my playlist, great episode followed by a hilarious ending, catch you guys later :)

Joey Cat

How the hell do you two always so accurately call out the plot, it's so awesome and vexing at the same time xD

Shadowbane1992

Kevdak: "You can't win, you're surrounded!" Grog: "All I'm surrounded by is fear, and unclapped cheeks."

Liesmith

It's like they gave the animators a duffle bag full of cocaine and cash, and just said "go nuts!" God this episode was beautifully done. Also, I love how much of a monstah Pike is.

Liesmith

You guys absolutely should go watch the Kevdak fight in the CR podcast itself, it’s one of the most epic moments in the campaign. The title of the podcast episode is the same as this one, “Killbox”

Cody Galo

Vox machina is lucky it was 3 weeks, they could have been sent all the way back to the past, or even the future, 3 weeks is at least near the correct time.

VJ Sins

The" I would like to rage" catch phrase works a lot better in the table top version when Matt mercer asks Grogs player what he would like to do on his round of combat.

blue cloak

The moment when everyone at the tables realized who Kaylee was is probably one of the best moments in all of critical role.

Sneaky_Arachnid

Man, Ant was ON POINT with the predictions this episode lol

bandi138138

Ant turning down a girl he likes is too relatable tbh

Derek

18:10 Kima is voiced by Stephanie Beatriz. Symptoms of leaving the Fey Realm may include but not limited to, sped up time difference, slowed down time difference, and memory loss of time in the Fey Realm

Trevor Appel

That Grog drop from the sky was one of the most badass NAT20 moment of Critical Role History. Grog was at 4 HP, at death's door, so Travis made a wreckless attack to give himself advantage in a all-or-nothing effort. The first roll was a nat 1 and the second a nat 20 Critical hit. Shit was, in the words of Liam O'brien, "POETIC JUSTICE!!!" Here's a crazy fact: the vines that held Kevdak down wasn't Keyleth's, it was Vex's. It's one of the abilities from Fenthras, called Brambled Shot, where thorny vines restrict and damage the target, until they roll a strength save to get out of it. Also, Kima (the halfling paladin girlfriend of Allura) is voiced by Stephanie Beatriz, who voiced Mirabel in Disney's Encanto

Love the podcast type bits before the intro. Also hope your chewing and swallowing pain goes away soon Ant.
