Annie and Eren have had to fear the dumb titans too, even in titan form, cause they're still seen as targets by the dumb ones. But this one's able to boss them around...

When I first started watching the show I wasn't really sure how I felt about the show until season 2, it was at that point I knew no matter what happens next I'm watching till the end.

Just because the beast titan didn't initially kill him directly doesn't mean he wasn't counting on him not surviving. The choices were going out like a bitch or not letting your resolve run out and he chose the latter even if he had no chance which honestly props, did not deserve the disrespect.

Erwin says it when the new scouts join in season 1 for instance. It was established before that titans don't actually need to eat, they don't digest food and they don't get energy from it. They're active in sunlight and dormant at night, they're powered by sunlight. You mentioned Berry and Reiner never hanging out before, that's not entirely true. In training Eren and Armin talk to the two of them and they mention that they're from the same hometown. Do you recognise the Beast Titan's voice? There's a bunch of filters on it but that's Takehito Koyasu, a.k.a. DIO.

He had an injured leg and no gear in territory that they realized has been breached by Titans, along with the way the Beast Titan nonchalantly gave the order for the three Titans to move implying that he never intended to let Miche live in the first place.

The intro of course alludes to this too with all the glowing hearts. Also with the sunlight thing I can't remember if it was when hange was first introduced, or before, but they stated titans were more active in sunlight and became more lethargic at night, almost as if they're solar powered.
