2023-05-15 18:01:38 +0000 UTCThat last scene with Levi and his friends man, I'm torn cause I'm tearing up over the fact that Levi just can't seem to stop losing the ones closest to him and also the absolute evisceration of that titan was so badass, so a lot of mixed emotions in that scene. The theme song of this episode is "So ist es Immer" which means "It's always like that". It's a wonderful piece of music that never appears in the main series. There's something about the way Isabel's head is drawn that's just so fucking raw I can't believe it. Hiroshi Kamiya, Levi's VA, is absolutely GOAT'd. Thanks for recognizing that Levi isn't "emotionless" or whatever. I really hate that kind of take because if you look even slightly beneath the surface it's so demonstrably untrue.
